The Mi-24 “Hind” is a large helicopter gunship, attack helicopter and a low capacity troop transport with room for up to eight passengers. Primary usage and upkeep is done by the Russian Air Force, and the Hind is used more than 30 other nations. Mi-24V "Hind E" is an improved version, the major change consists in the upgraded and more efficient missile system with radio-guided anti-tank missiles launched from two pairs of cylindrical pods mounted on wingtips and other armament improvements including a remotely controlled YakB 12.7mm rotary cannon in a front mounted pod.
