About the Type 95 Ha-Go - Light Tank:
The Type 95 "Ha-Go" was Japan's standard issue light tank at the onset of World War II. It featured an armored hull that could withstand all contemporary battlefield small arms and sported a 37mm gun capable of firing armor-piercing and high explosive rounds. The Type 95 saw service in Manchuria, China, Southeast Asia and the Pacific island campaigns. While eventually outclassed by more powerful Allied medium tanks, the Type 95 still provided an effective mobile punch against infantry and small fortifications throughout the entire war.
