The KV-2 (Russian: КВ-2: Karve-Dover) was a heavy tank developed by the Soviet Union during World War II.
"KV", named after the then Soviet Minister of Defence, Kliment Voroshilov (Климент Ворошилов), is written in English as "KV" and in German as "KW".
It was nicknamed "Gigant" by the Germans because of its huge size and rotating turret with a 152mm howitzer D-10T. (From Wikipedia)
